Kobe Luminarie 神戸ルミナリエ 2

 Today I went to see Luminarie again. 

夕方に、ルミナリエ通りにあるモンベルでお買い物。日が落ち、音楽が鳴り始め、ルミナリエが点灯。

今日は東遊園地の光の輪の中へ！

 We are surrounded by gorgeous lights.

光に囲まれ、素敵な空間。みんな、うっとり眺めていました。

 People were ringing a bell.

鐘が鳴っていました。

 LED bulbs are used in this place. 

少し離れた場所に、LED電球の光の輪。色がはっきりしているけど、、、

 The reflection on the water is beautiful.
池の水面に映る光。

I'll come to see them again next year.

来年も見に来よう。

Kobe Luminarie 神戸ルミナリエ

 Kobe Luminarie. It has been held annually since the massive earthquake happened in Kobe and around area in 1995.

神戸ルミナリエ。12月１日から開催されています。

今年もきれい。今年も人がいっぱい。

 Approximately 200,000 bulbs are used. 

電球がいっぱい。約20万個。省エネのためLED電球も一部で使われているとか。

 I walked through the tunnel of lights, reached a park, Higashi-Yuenchi.

東遊園地。光がいっぱい。

Just after I took this photo, the gorgeous lights went out suddenly. It was 9 p.m. I should've checked the lights-out time...

この後、光の中へ入って行った。さぁ、写真を撮ろうとしたら、ぱっと消えた。絶望のような残念な人々の声。。。　21時。消灯の時間でした。

明日も行こうかなぁ～。

Corals 池間大橋

 I took a walk on the bridge, Ikema-Ohashi. I came here on the first day and the third day of my Miyako-jima trip. I could see corals from the bridge. Oh! Heart-shaped corals' colony!

池間大橋とその周辺をてくてくお散歩。１日目と２日目で宮古島をバイクで一周した後、最終日の３日目もここに戻って来て、お散歩しました。

橋の上からも、珊瑚が見えます。あっ、ハート！

 I met a local man who was fishing on the bridge. He got a big squid, showed it me.

橋の上をてくてく歩いていると、自転車に乗った地元のおじさまに出会いました。「大きなイカが釣れたぞ！　見るか？」橋の上から釣りができるんだ。

Colonies of corals looked like islands.

珊瑚のかたまりが、島のようになっています。

 I sometimes saw fish swimming around corals.

魚も時々見かけました。

 That coral is big!

これは大きい！

 Is it a giant's footprint!?

Corals グラスボート

 On the first day of Miyako-jima trip, I went to Ikema-jima. I took a glass bottom boat with a couple from Hiroshima and a local couple who guided them. 

Fortunately, the sun was shining while we were on the boat.

宮古島の初日。雨は大丈夫かなぁと心配しながら、原付バイクで北へ走りました。池間島からグラスボートが出ている。

乗り場に着くと「今、船が出るから、すぐ乗って！」グッドタイミングでした。広島からの夫婦と、その夫婦を案内している地元の夫婦、私、そして会話が楽しい船頭さん。

幸運なことに、船が海に出ると晴れだした！　海の色がさぁーっと美しくなる。乗船中、太陽は光を照らしてくれました。

 The color was different due to the depth.

海は海底の地形によって、色が変わります。

 The boat stopped at the watching points.

珊瑚や魚が観察できる場所で、ボートはスピードを緩めます。

 I've never seen such beautiful and many kinds of corals in my life! Some corals were blue.  

珊瑚がきれいに見える。珊瑚の種類も多く、今までに経験したなかで、一番美しいと思った。キャベツのような珊瑚。脳のような珊瑚。青い珊瑚。

地元の人いわく、グラスボートに乗るのは干潮ちかくの方が良い。船底と海底の距離が短いので、珊瑚がよりはっきり見えるらしい。この時は、干潮２時間後だったらしい。

 I opened the window, looked out. I could see corals.

「グラスをのぞくだけでなく、窓を開けて外を見なさい」水面からきれいに見える！

 I could see tropical fish, too. I'll try snorkeling next time.

小さな波で分かりにくいけど、小さな魚たちが泳いでいるのも見える！　今度はシュノーケリングしよう！

 This tour was about one hour. The great time passed quickly. We had to go back.

いつまでも見ていたかった。このグラスボートは約１時間だけど、あっという間でした。

 Ikema-ohashi, a bridge between Ikema-jima and Miyako-jima. I walked on the bridge later.

池間大橋をくぐる。橋の上からの風景はどんなだろう。

The glass bottom boat was not big. But it was an amazing experience.

こんな小さな船でした。この前日は、雨と風で欠航していたそうです。
