On the following morning, I went to Kasagataki by bus. I could see its main building on the cliff.
土庄港近くで１泊し、朝のバスで笠ヶ瀧へ向かいました。岩に囲まれたような本堂が見える。
I walked up steep stairs. 笠ヶ瀧に到着。長くて急な階段を登ります。
The stairs become steeper. 本堂に近づくと、階段はさらに急で登りにくくなります。
Now you need to use your hands to climb up. やっと本堂が目の前に。手も使って登ります。

I left Kasagataki, and headed to Otozan.
笠ヶ瀧から皇踏山への登山道に行けるそうですが、その道が分からずいったん階段を下って地元の人に別の登山口を教えてもらいました。右も左も急な坂。尾根沿いの気持ち良いお散歩道を皇踏山に向かって歩きます。
I sometimes stopped walking and enjoyed the scenery.
時々、風景を楽しみます。
I could see the Seto Inland Sea and islands.
瀬戸内海の島々や四国も見渡せる素晴らしい景色。
There is a castle ruin.
山城跡があり、この近くにも展望所がありました。
In late April, wisteria flowers were blooming beautifully.
4月下旬。藤の花が綺麗に咲いていました。
I could see the Angel Road, which is a sand road between a small island and main island at low tide.
干潮には島への道が現れる、エンジェルロードも見えます。

皇踏山頂上からも素晴らしい景色です。
I followed the pink ribbon not to get lost.
皇踏山頂上周辺は岩が多くて迷いそう。ピンクのリボンを見つけながら進みます。
From here the trail is really steep.
ここからはとっても急な下り坂です。

時間があったので、エンジェルロードへ行って見ました。振り返ると皇踏山が見渡せました。
