Zao 蔵王 2

I kept on walking, headed to Mt. Kumano.
お釜を後に、すぐそばの熊野岳に向かいました。小さな白い花が咲いていました。


There were tiny flowers along the path.
アオノツガザクラ。鈴のような花で、かわいい。


There was a shrine surrounded by a stone wall.
頂上には石垣で囲まれた神社。


Kumano-Jinja. When I was standing in front of the shrine, a small earthquake occurred. I thought I felt dizzy.
熊野神社。この時、石垣がカタカタと鳴り、揺れました。福島沖を震源とする地震だったそうです。ビックリした〜。



I had a short break on the top of Mt. Kumano. Then I started to walk down.
頂上でおにぎりを食べて、少し休憩。ふもとの蔵王温泉に向かいます。
下りかけた時、気付いた。


I found there were countless tiny flowers on the ground. I sit down for a while in the middle of gorgeous wild flowers.
辺り一面、小さな花が咲いていました！　ほとんどが白い花のツマトリソウとアオノツガザクラ。ところどころピンクのイワカガミ。
お花畑の中、しばらく見とれていました。素晴らしい、蔵王からの贈り物でした。








I walked down the flowery slope, looked back.
熊野岳を振り返り、


I headed to Zao Onsen.

Zao 蔵王 1

I left Sendai on the following morning, headed to Yamagata. I took a bus at Yamagata station. The bus took me to Zao Mountains. There was a crater lake called Okama near the bus stop.

仙台で一泊した後、山形へ向かい、バスで蔵王刈田山頂へ。駐車場から数分歩くと、お釜が見えました。


I started hiking. At first I headed to a shrine on the top of Mt. Karita.
少し登ると刈田岳山頂。今日のお散歩が楽しめるよう、山頂の神社へお参りに行きましょう。



I planed to go to Zao Onsen by walk and ropeway.
この日は、正面に見える熊野岳を越えて、ロープウエイを利用しながら蔵王温泉へ向かう予定。霧や雨に会いませんように。


I walked along the crater lake.
お釜を眺めながら、馬の背と呼ばれる道を、てくてくお散歩。



I looked back.
時々、振り返りながら。



I kept on walking on a gentle slope.
熊野岳が近づいて来ました。




The crater lake is also called Goshikinuma, Five color lake.
正面に刈田岳山頂。どの角度から見ても、お釜はきれいでした。季節や天候によって、湖面の色が変わるというこの火口湖は、五色沼とも呼ばれるそうです。

Shiogama 塩竈

I visited Miyagi and Yamagata last week. At first, I went to Shiogama which is next to Matsushima, one of Japan's three great views. I've been to Matsushima a few times, so I had planed to visit Shiogama in this time.
After sushi lunch, I headed to Shiogama Shrine.

中孝介のコンサートと、厚切り牛たん炭火焼が目的で、仙台へ。
コンサートまでの時間、塩竈をてくてくお散歩。仙台から電車で約30分。
地元産メインのお寿司の昼食後、鹽竈（しおがま）神社へ。202段の石段は圧巻。






It was a beautiful day. I saw some families taking newborn babies, a couple had a wedding ceremony at the shrine.
この日は、お宮参りや結婚式が行われていました。
良い天気で良かったね。みんな嬉しそうでした。




Shiogama Shrine has a history of over 1200 years.
桜の木など、存在感のある木々がたくさんありました。
1200年といわれる歴史が感じられました。






Nanamagari-zaka, seven turns slope, is the oldest approach pathway to the shrine.
七曲坂。最も古い参道らしく、その形成は奈良時代からと推測されているとか。



There were traditional buildings along a street.
本塩釜駅への道に、レトロな建物がありました。

I enjoyed a parade at day time and entertainments at night.
リニューアルのハウステンボス。いろいろなイベントが企画されていました。
夜もショーやお買い物が楽しめました。










The tower and buildings were illuminated.
夜の花火がなくなりましたが、ライトアップが美しい。




From hotel room. I'll come back to see different seasonal flowers.
