Shosenkyo 昇仙峡

I wanted to visit Nishizawa-keikoku. But I knew that Shosenkyo tour was held from Katsunuma budogo YH, I changed my mind, I decided to join the tour.
There were strange shapes of rocks on the mountain in Shosenkyo. The scenery reminded me of Yakushima.
I’m sorry that I can’t show you how wonderful the scenery was from these photos.

西沢渓谷へ行こうと思っていたのだけど、勝沼ぶどう郷YHで昇仙峡へのツアーが開催されると知り、参加した。
山には奇岩が。どこかで見たような風景。。。屋久島 を思い出した。
素晴らしい景色。だけど、写真からは伝えられないのが、とても残念です。


The left peak was Kakuenpo.
左ののっぺりした岩山が、覚円峰。


We walked on the path along a stream.
渓流沿いの遊歩道を歩く。


We went down to the stream.
渓流の水際へ降りれるところもあった。


There was a round stone, like a ball.
お団子のような、丸い石。


Ishi-mon, stone gate, that formed with two big rocks.
石門。


Two big rocks didn’t touch.
わずかな隙間があった。


I looked back Ishi-mon.
石門を振り返る。


We kept on walking.
渓谷沿いを進む。


Sengataki. It was a nice waterfall.
仙娥滝。
実際には、もっと迫力があって美しかったのですが。


Around there was famous for natural stones. There were shops that sold various stones along the path.
水晶など、美しい天然石が有名らしく、お店が並んでいた。


We took a ropeway, walked up to Yasaburo-dake. We had a rest on a huge round rock.
ロープウエイに乗って、弥三郎岳へ。まぁるい大岩の上で休憩。
ここまで来て良かったー！

Katsunuma 勝沼ぶどう郷

I wanted to visit Katunema and Nishizawa-keikoku since I saw photos on Josh’s blog. I had an opportunity to go Katunuma in June.
On June 2, I went to Kofu via Shizuoka. I expected to see Mt. Fuji from train, but clouds hid it.
I could see vineyard in residential area in Kofu. And there were vineyards all over the place in Katsunuma.

私のブログの師匠、Joshuaのブログで勝沼ぶどう郷YHのことや西沢渓谷のことを知り、行ってみたいなぁーと思っていた。
６月初め、連休があったので行ってみた。
静岡から見延線経由で甲府へ。富士山が見れると期待していたけど、雲に隠れていた。残念。
電車が甲府入ると、線路沿いや住宅地にもぶどう畑があり、びっくり。勝沼ぶどう郷では、一面ぶどう畑が広がっていた。


I walked up on the steep slope from Katsunuma budogo station.
駅から勝沼ぶどう郷YHへ向かう。駅も標高が高いが、さらにどんどん登る。


This is the scenery from the dining room of Katsunuma Budogo YH. It was nice to have a dinner with such beautiful scene of sunset.
After dinner, the owner of YH took us to an onsen, Tenku-no-yu. I could see a twinkle night view from open-air bath.
YHの食堂から見た夕日。こんな景色を眺めながら、おいしい夕食をいただきました。
夕食後は、“天空の湯”という温泉へ。夜景を見下ろす露天風呂は最高！　晴れていれば星空もきれいだったでしょう。


The following morning was beautiful weather. I walked around the YH before breakfast.
次の日は晴れ。朝食前にYHの周辺をお散歩しました。


There were vineyards all over. Different kinds of vines were grown.
辺りはぶどう畑。いろいろな種類のぶどうが栽培されていました。


I’d like to be back to Katsunuma in the harvest season.
これからぶどうの実が大きくなっていく。収穫の季節にまた戻ってきたいなぁ。


The branches spread as if it was a spider’s web.
一本の幹から枝がクモの巣のように広がっています。







The sea of clouds appears several times a year. A hill, Budo-no-oka, looks like a small island in the sea at the time.
甲府は盆地なので、ここから雲海が早朝に見られることがあるそうです。“天空の湯”があるぶどうの丘は、雲海の上の島のように見えるそうです。

Tono 遠野 2

I wanted to see a big mysterious stone, Tsuzuki-ishi, so I rent a bicycle. I asked how to get to Gohyakurakan, I was said “Bears live in the place. Be careful.” and handed a bell to avoid bears.
At first, I visited Atago-jinja. I climbed up stone steps.

続石が見たくて、駅前の観光案内所でレンタサイクル。五百羅漢の行き方を尋ねると、「クマが住んでいますので、気をつけてください。薄暗くなってきたら行かないように。」と、クマ除けの鈴を手渡された。
まずは、愛宕神社。石段は波打っていて、歴史を感じる。


After stone steps, I could see the main shrine in the woods.
階段を登りきると、本堂が見えた。「クマに会いませんように。」とお祈り。


Gohyakurakan (five hundred rakans)
五百羅漢は愛宕神社の近くにあった。木々の中、ひっそりとしている。


Many people suffered from a terrible famine in this area about two hundreds ago. One priest engraved Rakan on each of stones.
約200年前、大飢饉で亡くなった人々の冥福を祈るために自然石ひとつひとつに羅漢が彫られた。

愛宕神社の近くにある卯子酉様。縁結びの神様。


I kept enjoying cycling.
自転車に戻り、サイクリング。緑に青い空。気持ちいいー。


There were cherry trees along the cycling path.
自転車専用道路。ここは桜並木。春は素敵でしょうね。


I climbed up in the woods for ten minutes with the bell to avoid bears.
車道から山道を約10分登る。クマ除けの鈴を鳴らしながら。
やっと、大きな石が見えた。


Tsuzuki-ishi.
続石。石が二本足で立っているように見える。


The upper stone was 7m wide, 5m length, 2m high.
横から見ると、こんな感じ。上の巨石は、幅7m、奥行き5m、厚さ2m。


One stone supported the huge stone.
巨石はひとつの石に支えられていた！

Tono 遠野 1

We returned to Tono YH. Then we went up a hill, Tonuppu, by car. There were lots of rice fields filled with water, as if it was a big lake.

早池峰山から遠野YHへ戻り、時間が早かったので車で遠野を一望できるトオヌップ（アイヌ語で“湖のある丘原”）展望台へ。
水を張った田んぼが多く、大きな湖のように見えた。


I took a walk around Tono YH.
遠野YHの周辺をてくてくお散歩。

I felt happy and relaxed in the calm countryside.
こんな静かな景色の中を、のんびり歩ける幸せを感じる。贅沢だなぁー。

田んぼの水面に山や雲が映っていた。


There was a stream near Tono YH. I saw a male pheasant flying away to the opposite side of the stream. It was the first time to see a flying pheasant, so I was surprised. It looked like a phoenix.
遠野YHのそばの川。雄のキジが、向こう岸に飛んで行った。飛んでいるキジを見たのは、初めて！
手塚治虫の火の鳥のように、素敵でした。

Hayachinesan 早池峰山 2

Around 11 am, Kagura (Shinto music and dancing) of Hayachine shrine started on the top of Hayachinesan. It was the most impressed thing in my Iwate trip.

11時頃、登山者たちが見つめる中、山頂では早池峰神社のお神楽が始まりました。今回の岩手の旅で、最も印象に残ったひととき。









He splashed sacred water over visitors.
ひしゃくに入った水を登山者たちにかけています。
お神楽の後、山開き記念の絵馬が配られました。
このお神楽は、思っていたよりずーっと素敵で、感動でした！
